AUBURN, Ala.- Most City facilities will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. Downtown parking will be free with the exception of the Wright Street Parking Deck.

Public Safety services will remain on their regular schedules. Garbage, trash and recycling pickup routes will remain on their regular schedules.

While the Auburn Public Library will be closed, book drops will remain open, and the online collection of e-books, audiobooks and digital magazines is always available.

All Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed except for the Lake Wilmore Park Pool (open 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Swim Lessons from 4-7:15 p.m.), the Samford Pool (open for Lap Swim from 7-8:30 a.m.; Rec Swim from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.) and the Yarbrough Tennis Center (open 8 a.m.-9 p.m.). All City of Auburn parks, playgrounds and cemeteries will be open from sunrise to sunset.
